Designed for adults
Create a landscape painting with just a few strokes of color with local painter Alisa Beck. During this free studio workshop, participants will learn how to see and understand the landscape in terms of shape and color, mix paints from a limited palette, and apply paint with a palette knife to create a landscape scene. Participants will also have a chance to visit the exhibition (Un)Settled: The Landscape in American Art. Registration is required.
Cost
This class falls under the MMFA’s Access for All grant, providing free studio classes to all. Note: a registration fee may be required to hold your spot, but it will be refunded once you attend the class.
