Family Art Affair and Jazz Jams
Join us Sunday, March 26, at 2 P.M. in the MMFA studios for a fun activity inspired by the exhibition Nature, Tradition & Innovation: Contemporary Japanese Ceramics from the Gordon Brodfuehrer Collection, and create decorative vessels from air-dry clay to take home and enjoy! Also, make sure to stop by Orientation Circle to hear performances from some of the best jazz musicians in the River Region.
The Museum will host its fifth annual event for the local homeschool community, offering interdisciplinary connections through engaging gallery tours and studio activities. Registration ends March 24th!
Pairs and Partners: Curatorial Conversations
Pairs and Partners is all about points of view—specifically the points of view of museum curators. In this series of exhibitions drawn from the permanent collection of the MMFA, curators and other “guests” demonstrate the variety of ways in which works of art might be interpreted–through April 16, 2017.
