Local Artists Live: Gary Chapman

During the winter months, Local Artists Live will highlight artists in the Museum’s permanent collection, beginning on Saturday, December 11, with Gary Chapman, who painted the collection treasure Mutter und Tochter. From 10 to 11 AM, Chapman will go live on the MMFA’s Instagram account, offering viewers a behind-the-scenes view of his studio space, sharing a bit about his creative process, and demonstrating how he creates his masterful paper snowflakes. MMFA’s Community Arts & Engagement Coordinator Laura Bocquin will be on hand to field questions from the viewers, so make sure to tune in for this special opportunity to connect with a present-day master of the arts!
