Backyard Botanical Art: Autumn in the Garden

Overview
This monthly livestream is an evolution of the Museum’s Botanical Art Workshop that traditionally takes place in the John and Joyce Caddell Sculpture Garden. Through the MMFA’s Instagram account, Assistant Curator of Education Laura Bocquin shares the basics of botanical art that you can accomplish in your own backyard.
This Class
Laura will broadcast live from the Museum’s John and Joyce Caddell Sculpture Garden, explore how the fall season has altered the landscape, and use those changes to help execute a colorful and fun printmaking project!
Materials: construction paper (dark color), leaves, small paintbrush, white tempera paint, a cup of water, paper towel, colored pencils
