This 175-acre park is home to the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and the Hannah Daye Ridling Bark Park. Featuring ponds, miles of walking trails, a natural amphitheater, and picturesque scenery, Blount Cultural Park is open every day of the week. While the park itself closes at sundown each day, check MMFA and ASF schedules for exceptions.
Alabama Shakespeare Festival
The Alabama Shakespeare Festival, located across the pond from the MMFA, is a wholly professional regional theatre that offers a robust schedule of productions each season. Broadway musicals, children’s productions, American classics, and world premieres are among the annual offerings at ASF.
The Hannah Daye Ridling Bark Park is located just inside the Vaughn Road entrance to Blount Cultural Park. The Park contains two separate areas: one area for small dogs and another for large dogs. There is a gazebo available in the park along with a wash station, benches, and fountains throughout.
