Exhibition on Screen – Lucien Freud: A Self Portrait

Sunday, March 8, 2020
3 PM

Art and film-lovers are invited to join us as Curator of Education Alice Novak introduces this film and draws connections to the Museum’s collection. The film, which represents an important collaboration between the Royal Academy of Arts in London and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, is a virtual exhibition of more than 50 of Freud’s paintings, prints, and drawings. It spans nearly seven decades of work and gives a fascinating insight into the artist’s technical and creative development, as well as the role of aging in self-representation.

$10 per ticket | Offsite at the Capri Theatre
