43rd Montgomery Art Guild Museum Exhibition

June 1 through July 21, 2019

On view in the Atrium, Blackmon, Goldman, Richard, Rushton, and Weil Galleries

Overview

The Museum has partnered with the Montgomery Art Guild to present a biennial exhibition of contemporary regional art in its galleries since 1960. We are pleased to welcome the art and artists of the 43rd exhibition to the Museum next summer. The exhibition contains an exciting variety of media, subjects, and themes, representing the “best of the best” artists within our River Region. The featured artist for this 43rd exhibition will be long-time professor of art at Auburn University at Montgomery, Richard Mills. The 43rd MAG Exhibition is open to all Montgomery Art Guild members.

Juror David Reyes, Curator of Exhibitions and Collections at the Huntsville Museum of Art, will select between 80 and 100 works from approximately 400 entries by about 100 artists. Cash prizes are awarded for works judged exceptional by the juror.
