Overview
In conjunction with the exhibition, A Beautiful Mess: Weavers and Knotters of the Vanguard, student artists are invited to submit work that showcases deep connections they have with the women in their lives. We encourage classes to work together to create collaborative pieces and incorporate fibers, whether they be sewn, attached, drawn, or used for stop motion.
Any current elementary, middle, or high school student artist is eligible to submit.

Submission Information
Each artist or class is asked to submit no more than one entry. Entries may be 2D or 3D but must not exceed 20×20 inches and 3 inches in depth. Artwork should be matted, but framing or wrapped acetate is not required canvases are acceptable. Please include a label detailing the artist’s name, grade, school, and medium(s) used. If the piece is being submitted by a class, please remember to include the teacher’s name and year in place of the individual artist’s name. Works may not be composed of food or edible materials. Works submitted without a completed entry form will be ineligible.
