Tied Together

The exhibition A Beautiful Mess contains a diverse roster of women artists who twist, tie, and braid tactile, utilitarian materials and push the boundaries of fiber art. To coincide with the exhibition, artists were asked to submit unique works that showcase the deep connections they have with women in their lives. The chosen works will incorporate fibers in some manner, whether sewn, attached, drawn, or even used for stop motion. Any current elementary, middle, or high school student artists are eligible to submit.
