The first exhibition of this series references the iconic 1940s folk song “This Land Is Your Land” by Woody Guthrie.
We invite students to reflect on the American story or their own personal story through the lens of land, both a geographical and metaphorical space of promise, struggle, and belonging.
Jurors welcome a variety of artistic interpretations.
The America250 Exhibition Series
2026 is the 250th anniversary of the United States’ Declaration of Independence. This milestone aims to be more than patriotic spectacle. It’s a chance to reflect on what American has been, who we have included and left out, and how we build a more perfect union for the next 250 years.
