The Camera As My Witness

In conjunction with the Homeward to the Prairie I Come: Gordon Parks exhibition, we invite students to submit work as it relates to identity, storytelling, and/or creative expression. 

In the spirit of Gordon Parks, we also invite students to use photography and include a short writing sample that pairs with their photograph. Writing sample can be a poem, short story, or a simple description, and should not exceed more than {insert} words.

Jurors welcome a variety of artistic interpretations. The Camera as My Witness is an opportunity for local students to explore, challenge, and celebrate their creativity.
