Overview

The Montgomery Artist Guild and the MMFA are excited to welcome Richard Mills as our featured artist for the 43rd MAG Museum Exhibition. Richard Mills is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, and he received his BFA and MFA from the University of Tennessee. Currently, he is Professor Emeritus of Fine Arts at Auburn University at Montgomery.

Mills has had over 40 solo exhibitions and has won over 30 awards including Watercolor USA, Red Clay Survey, and the Taos National Exhibition of American Art. His work is included in numerous collections including those at Clemson University, the Neville Public Museum, Prudential Life Insurance, and the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts.
