Overview
Nature’s Odyssey is a teen-curated exhibition of artworks from the MMFA’s student art collection that explores the changing moods of the seasons, from the vibrant colors of spring, summer and fall to the frosty palette of winter. The seasons bring different feelings and meanings, and this exhibition looks at the many ways we experience them.
During this process, the Muses met weekly to explore the student art collection, discuss thematic ideas, select and agree on artwork.
About the Muses Teen Council
The Muses is a teen council whose volunteers enjoy creative experiences and help shape the Museum’s programmatic offerings and other opportunities for teenage youth. Teens are given opportunities to engage with peers, meet professional artists, learn about working in an arts and cultural organization, and gain real-world experience in event planning, outreach, and project management.
The Muses meet weekly during the school year. All are welcome!
