Overview

The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts will host the Alabama A to Z: 45th Biennial Museum Exhibition. In addition to honoring the work of State artists, we also aim to place a spotlight on the talents of artists who are also educators. This exhibition seeks to draw attention to the talents of those who have committed their lives to the field of education.

Organized by the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, Montgomery, Alabama.

Submission Information

Any current or retired educator from a public or private school or studio program is eligible. This call is open to all educators, not just Visual Art teachers. Each educator is asked to submit one artwork representing their personal body of work. The entries may be 2-D or 3-D but must not exceed 20 x 20 inches and three inches in depth. Artwork should be matted, but framing or wrapped acetate is not required. Canvases are acceptable. Please remember to label each submission with the artist’s name, title, medium, and institution at which you are/ were an educator. Works may not be composed of food or edible materials. Only works that meet the size requirements will be accepted. Works submitted without a complete entry form will be ineligible.
