Overview
What Is Art Crawl?
The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts is excited to be a part of Art Crawl, an infant-focused art program designed to spark creativity and connection from the very beginning of life. Inspired by a program created by the Clyfford Still Museum in Denver, Art Crawl offers infants and their caregivers a joyful, sensory-rich introduction to the world of art. By interacting with art elements side by side, parents and caregivers become active participants in this journey while learning and growing in their appreciation of art alongside their children
This exhibition invites you to step into and explore the world of Art Crawl, experiencing how even the youngest minds can meaningfully engage with visual art. Through themed lessons that explore color, texture, shape, and storytelling, infants and their grown-ups are encouraged to observe, feel, and respond to art together.

“Art Crawl had brought new energy and joyful engagement to the museum … This program has truly deepened community connections and made the galleries more accessible to families.”
