About the Standard Deluxe Team
Scott Peek is an Alabama artist and founder of Standard Deluxe, a creative hub in the South that combines art, design, and music with a distinctive artistic aesthetic, a dedication to preservation and adaptive reuse, and a commitment to collaboration. A graduate of Auburn University, Peek is celebrating 35 years of Standard Deluxe in Waverly, Alabama, where he has built a remarkable body of designs, prints, and musical experiences through the business. For 25 years, he has also produced Standard Deluxe’s famed Old 280 Boogie, an annual music and arts festival that brings together artists, musicians, and audiences from across the region and beyond. Peek creates iconic spaces and experiences that foster community and honor the homegrown, do-it-yourself values of the South. His work is grounded in a deep sense of hospitality, a love of good music, and an ongoing quest to uncover new possibilities through creative design.
