Story Time in the Galleries is an online read-along designed specifically to help young children link aspects of art and language.
This month we’re making connections between the Museum’s current South African art exhibition Ubuhle Women: Beadwork and the Art of Independence and The Village of Round and Square Houses, a charming book about a village near an inactive volcano in Central Africa. Young children and their parents will learn with Museum educator Kaci Norman about colors, embroidery, African village life, and art.
