Ages 16 and up
Join us for this illuminating presentation and hands-on workshop, led by Silhouettist and Master Craftsperson, Shanlie Whittington. A treat for art enthusiasts and history lovers alike, Silhouettes: Scissors, Papers, Portraits explores the rich history and art of traditional silhouette portraiture. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own silhouettes, using a variety of historic methods, including ‘shadow casting,’ tracing, and cutting.
