Learn to paint like the Masters! Join us for a one day Portrait Painting Workshop taught by artist Tessa Tallakson, an American Representation painter living and working in rural Alabama. Participants will learn how to start and develop a portrait painting with a live model. Tessa will introduce water-based oil paints, how to simplify an underpainting and further develop the portrait using a limited palette. Along with instruction, there will also be a demonstration of working with a live model.
No previous painting or drawing experience is required. This workshop is limited to 15 students and advance registration is required.
