MMFA Nellie Mae Rowe Intergenerational Community Art Program

June 26 | Bertha Williams Library - Rosa Parks Avenue Branch

Artists of all ages are invited to create narrative works centered around the exhibition, Really Free: The Radical Art of Nellie Mae Rowe. Participants will illustrate and narrate a story to celebrate creativity in our everyday lives.

These programs are designed as intergenerational; every family or community group member can create artwork together, bridging the gap between different age groups through creative expression and welcome everyone into creative storytelling.
