Overview
River Region teens are invited to join the Muses Teen Council’s kick off meeting to join the Council, meet new and returning members, and learn about upcoming teen events and artist meet and greet opportunities in the new school year.
The Muses Teen Council is a small volunteer group of River Region teens (ages 13-18) that meet weekly on Mondays at 4 PM. They help plan two annual events for teens: In the Arts, an arts career night for teens to meet local arts professionals, and An Expressive Evening, a teen talent showcase. The teens meet with artists and museum professionals, assist in family event preparation, and take part in creative activities. Every meeting and event counts towards volunteer hours.
There is no application or fee to join. Volunteer hours accrue with each meeting and event. If you have any questions or concerns, please email Elisabeth Palmer at epalmer@mmfa.org.
