MAG Artist Demonstration: Winfred Hawkins

Overview
In celebration of the 44th Montgomery Art Guild Museum Exhibition, we’re bringing artists featured in the exhibition to the Sculpture Garden for an outdoor sketching studio.
Students and other artists are encouraged to bring their sketchbooks and pencils to sketch alongside the artist, engage in creative discussions, ask questions, and receive feedback. Beginners welcome.
This Session
This month’s artist is Winfred Hawkins. You may remember him from his Flimp Chalk at Home in April or his collaborative work on the striking mural adorning The King’s Canvas. Two of his works were accepted into the 44th MAG Museum Exhibition. In his work and in conversation, Winfred is a creative thinker, constantly pushing himself and encouraging others to not be afraid of full expression and stay curious at all times.
