Have you ever wondered what goes on behind-the-scenes in studios of local artists? Each month, artists broadcast live on the Museum’s Instagram—opening their studio spaces to share artwork, reflect on inspirations, and offer a live Q&A with the audience!
This special Local Artists Live will feature Jamie Harris, who was selected as the Oil Artist Award Winner in the 44th Montgomery Art Guild Museum Exhibition, for her work Aunt Jemima and Kin. During her live takeover of the MMFA’s Instagram account, Jamie will give a behind-the-scenes look at her creative space and offer insight into her practice and artistic style.
