Local Artists Live: Jae Green

Saturday, October 9 at 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM

Overview

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind-the-scenes in studios of local artists? Each month, artists broadcast live on the Museum’s Instagram—opening their studio spaces to share artwork, reflect on inspirations, and offer a live Q&A with the audience!

Jae Green is a visual artist and poet from Auburn. She teaches English at Auburn University and has a strength for illuminating the ekphrastic writing process. Though she prefers creating abstract art and revels in working with pastel pencils, her proficiency range is wide, from realistic painted portraits to black and white photography. Tune in for Jae’s feature to get an insider look at some of her art and enjoy a few of her poems!
