Local Artists Live: George Taylor

Saturday, November 27 at 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM

Overview

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes in studios of local artists? Each month, artists broadcast live on the Museum’s Instagram—opening their studio spaces to share artwork, reflect on inspirations, and offer a live Q&A with the audience!

You may recognize artist George Taylor from the wide-brim hat he wears while painting en plein air at various locations across central Alabama. His landscape and still life oil paintings showcase his unique style—a curious blend of realism, impressionism, and countless other influences. Don’t miss this live behind-the-scenes look into George’s creative space, where the self-proclaimed “art history nut” will examine works and discuss his process.
