Overview
Have you ever wondered what goes on behind-the-scenes in studios of local artists? Each month, artists broadcast live on the Museum’s Instagram—opening their studio spaces to share artwork, reflect on inspirations, and offer a live Q&A with the audience!
This weekend, Local Artists Live continues winter’s special features of artists in the Museum’s permanent collection, with beloved, longtime local artist Charlie “Tinman” Lucas. From 10-11 am on Saturday, January 15th, Charlie will be live on the MMFA’s Instagram account, sharing a bit about his creative process and his background as an artist, and offering viewers a behind-the-scenes view of his studio space. MMFA’s Community Arts & Engagement Coordinator Laura Bocquin will be on hand to field questions from the viewers, so make sure to tune in for this opportunity to connect with a living legend in such a unique way!
