Overview
Designed for ages 5 to 8
Join local artist and educator Sarah Tanner for an engaging week of artmaking! Students will learn many techniques and materials needed to create narrative artwork. Students will warm up by sketching throughout the museum to gain inspiration for their projects. Many pieces will feature multimedia, including an opportunity for collage creation. Students will conclude the camp with several projects, including an art book that tells the story of their individual experiences during the week camp.
This camp is limited to 15 students, and advance registration is required.
Cost
This class falls under the MMFA’s Access for All grant, providing free studio classes to all. Note: a registration fee may be required to hold your spot, but it will be refunded once you attend the class.
