In partnership with the City of Montgomery, Alabama, Jazz Jams is back! This free event celebrates Montgomery, Alabama’s vibrant creative culture, featuring a live band, cash bar, and delicious hors d’oeuvres. This free, 21+ event features music from local jazz musicians; this event features music from La’Roy Bodiford (saxophone/EWI), Joseph Stallworth (keyboard), Norris Jones (guitar), Wayne Smith (bass) and Brandon Cohn (drums).
This event is rain or shine; in the case of inclement weather, activities will be moved indoors.

About La'Roy Bodiford
Former Marine, La’Roy Bodiford fell in love with jazz music as a young child. La’Roy’s love of music became a dream that he began chasing when he joined the 6th-grade band of Luverne Elementary, in Luverne, Alabama. After completing his time in the Marine Corps, he has toured with American Idol winner, Ruben Studdard, and shared the stage with other jazz artists such as Jeff Lorber, Rick Braun, Brian Culbertson, and many more.
