Overview
For this head drawing ‘workout’, we’ll spend the morning investigating core drawing methodologies as applied to heads and faces. The focus will be on creating more successful representational portraits. We’ll look at a variety of options for continued study, such as observational and constructive approaches, and some different head drawing systems. During the session, we’ll also take time for practice, advice and Q&A.
The instructor will discuss different drawing mediums, including charcoal, conte, clutch/mechanical pencils, sharpening, etc., and give recommendations for which materials are best suited for developing specific skills.
This class is free but registration is required.
