Overview
Join artist and educator Tara Stallworth Lee for a fabric and paper collage workshop! In conjunction with MMFA’s exhibitions, Pieced Together and Selma is Now, you will be introduced to Alabama’s rich historical past, the legacy of quilting, and the lasting impact of photography. Tara will share simple embroidery and collage techniques and guide you in constructing your own original work of art. All experience levels are welcome. This free workshop will infuse your work with inspiration and influence.

Cost
This class falls under the MMFA’s Access for All grant, providing free studio classes to all. Note: a registration fee may be required to hold your spot, but it will be refunded once you attend the class.
