Cyanotype and Bookmaking Workshop with Sara Dismukes and Will Jacks

Designed for Teens and Adults
Harness the sun and your creativity in this Cyanotype and bookmaking workshop with local artists Sara Dismukes and Will Jacks. Teen and adult participants will learn the historic contact printing process that uses sunlight to create distinctive blue-tone images. Participants will also learn basic bookmaking techniques to create a display folio and a series of original decorative paste papers.
Cost
Single Class: $25
The registration fee of $25 includes all the art-making materials. Class scholarships are available; please contact ethomas@mmfa.org for additional information.
Fees and Refunds
Class costs will only be refunded if a program is cancelled. For any other full refund or credit, cancellations must be made no later than two weeks before the program begins. After that time a 25% administrative fee will be charged.
