At the end of the day, take a moment and tune in as MMFA Educator Elisabeth Palmer sits down with local artist Elana Hagler to discuss how the process of designing coins differs from her usual drawings and hear about her experience working in the United States Mint’s Artistic Infusion Program.
About Elana Hagler
Elana was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, and immigrated to the United States at the age of five. She has exhibited her work across the United States and internationally. In addition to being a fine artist, portraitist, and now coin designer, she teaches drawing and painting at Alabama State University.
