Overview
Designed for ages 8 to 13
We invite all 8-13 year old artists to join Tiiwon Siaway, a talented and energetic artist and educator, for a creative afternoon in the MMFA’s studios. She will be exploring collage-making and graphic journaling using newspaper and magazine clippings, scrap paper, glue, markers, and paint. Participants will create a personalized collage and short journal entry to complete their narrative. All experience levels are welcome. Each participant will leave with a masterpiece ready for the wall, not just the refrigerator.
Cost
The registration fee of $35 includes all the needed art-making materials. Museum members receive a 25% discount on registration. Limited to 20 participants.
Fees and Refunds
Class costs will only be refunded if a program is cancelled. For any other full refund or credit, cancellations must be made no later than two weeks before the program begins. After that time a 25% administrative fee will be charged.
