Backyard Botanical Art: All Bloomed Out

Overview
This monthly livestream is an evolution of the Museum’s Botanical Art Workshop that traditionally takes place in the John and Joyce Caddell Sculpture Garden. Through the MMFA’s Instagram account, Assistant Curator of Education Laura Bocquin shares the basics of botanical art that you can accomplish in your own backyard.
This Class
As seasons slowly change here in the South, flowering plants of the summer offer up their last blooms before going to seed to set the process in motion again for the next year. Join Laura for our last Backyard Botanical Art of the summer season, as she glorifies some hot-weather-favorites by helping them live forever on paper.
Materials: drawing paper, pencil and eraser, colored pencils, technical pen (optional)
