Artists+Activism: LGBTQ+ in the Arts

The artworld is full of a diverse cross-section of individuals that bring their own unique experiences and perspectives to their work that in turn help us see the world in a different light. Join MMFA Development Assistant Cassandra Cavness on Facebook Live for a discussion celebrating artists and arts workers that are advocating for greater inclusivity in the art world for LGBTQ+ individuals. Featured in this program will be Emma McDaniels-Ellis, Director of South Eastern Queer Arts, Joshua Buford, Director of Outreach & Lead Archivist of Invisible History Project, and local artist Shannon Anderson.
