Designed for ages 6 to 12
A vibrant, hands-on camp blending art and science through bold, interactive projects. Students will explore color, texture, and STEAM concepts as they create eye-catching, dimensional artwork.
Abrakadoodle Art Camps at MMFA spark creativity, confidence, and joyful self-expression through hands-on, process-based art. Each session blends fine art techniques with playful exploration, allowing students to experiment with a wide range of materials and create meaningful masterpieces.
Campers will explore:
– Painting, drawing, and mixed media
– Sculpture and 3D art
– STEAM-inspired creative projects
– Art inspired by famous artists and global cultures
We focus on creating an encouraging environment where every child feels successful and inspired.
Important note: We recommend campers bring comfortable shoes and clothing, a reusable water bottle, and daily snacks.
Cost
This class falls under the MMFA’s Access for All grant, providing free studio classes to all. Note: a registration fee may be required to hold your spot, but it will be refunded once you attend the class.
