Overview
Designed for art educators
Our second deep dive workshop focuses on papermaking. This workshop will be the first of two workshops exploring the beginning steps of the papermaking process.
Making Your Own Paper
This is a great way to recycle any scrap paper such as paper grocery bags, newspaper, paper from worksheets, and junk mail. It starts with making paper pulp then pressing the pulp into a screen. Finally, drying the paper before using for drawings, notes, and homemade cards.
This program is free to all and registration is not required. For more information, please email Elisabeth Palmer at epalmer@mmfa.org.
