Art Crawl: Fall Colors

Saturday, October 25 at 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Overview

Infants and Caregivers | FREE, registration required

The MMFA is excited for the addition of the infant-focused art program, Art Crawl. Partnering with Clyfford Still Museum, where the program originated, Art Crawl is an uplifting opportunity for infants to have a meaningful formative experience with art. Both parents and caretakers will be a part of this journey and learn with their children. Art Crawl features an array of themes for each class. ranging from color theory, to shapes and texture. Session 1’s theme will be Fall Colors. Coinciding with the change of season from Summer to Fall, caregivers are encouraged to address those changes with their babies through art. The session will consist of finding paintings with relevant objects, such as vertical (trees) warm colors (leaves). They will also interact with materials that crinkle (leaves) and provide a sound and touch sensory experience.

Registration is required. Contact Kaylee Hobbs at 334-625-4349 or email, kahobbs@mmfa.org
