April is Autism Awareness Month and the Museum is planning to join in the celebration by kicking off the month with Arts for Autism. This is a free event designed to honor those among us on the spectrum and families. Please join us for fun activities throughout the Museum including make-and-take art projects and ask me docents in the galleries.
Decorate puzzle pieces and then add them to a collaborative work of art that will live on in ArtWorks.
Decorate a picture frame with puzzle pieces.
Dance in front of the Tannenbaum screen to calming music.
Enjoy a mess-free painting experience.
Outdoor Studio / Wilson Gallery (rain location)
Create sculptures with model magic inspired by works on view in About Face: Contemporary Ceramic Sculpture.
