Earth's Heart

Visit ArtWorks on Thursday afternoons at 2:30 PM to explore the arts of different cultures. ArtWorks Educator Kelly Bazan will introduce young learners to the basic greetings, visual arts, music, clothing, and traditions of the country in focus.

This free monthly program helps develop early learning and fine motor skills through storytelling and a simple craft. Tots, ages 2 to 5, and their caregivers will enjoy a fun interactive story and create a make-and-take art project home.

The Art of Baking Puppet Show, designed children ages 3 to 6 years old, engages children as they visit a bakery run by colorful animals from different parts of the world.

Native American Family Day

This free spring event celebrates the Poarch Band of Creek Indians and their heritage. Join us for an afternoon of dance performances, tribal drumming, and artisans demonstrating their skills.

Flimp Festival

The Flimp Festival hosts a wide variety of exciting activities, from the Do-Dah pet costume parade, to dance, theatre, and band performances, arts and crafts, and a scavenger hunt through the galleries.

Gallery Backpacks

The Gallery Backpacks, designed for elementary students and their families, include creative activities to guide young learners through the Museum. Backpacks can be checked out at the Welcome Desk (with a valid id).

Tours

Learn more about the art on view at the Museum in these FREE one-hour docent led-tours, offered the first Sunday and third Saturday of each month at 1 PM. No Registration required.
