Studio Classes

Preschool

Young Artists

Ages 3 to 5 with an adult caregiver

Children with their caregivers will enjoy learning about the basic elements of art through fun and new artmaking techniques. Each class will feature a different project that will help improve fine motor and social skills.

Tuesdays: Aug 7, 21; Sep 4, and 18
Time: 3:45–4:30 PM

Children and Youth

Homeschool Workshop with Chris Wade

Ages 6 to 18

Chris Wade, the artist featured in the solo exhibition Evolution of a Dream, will host a studio workshop for homeschool students. Participants will work on a variety of projects with the artist. Students will need to bring a sack lunch.

Teens and Adults

Calligraphy Class

Ages 14 and Older

In this workshop participants will learn the basics of calligraphy including tools and styles. Participants will go home with several examples at the end of this one-day workshop. Materials are provided, and an optional supply list is available. A box lunch from our Café is available for purchase.

Adult Workshop with Chris Wade

Ages 14 and older

Join artist, Chris Wade, whose work is exhibited in Evolution of a Dream, in the Museum’s studio to learn more about the artist’s work while working on your own creative pieces. All skill levels welcome. A box lunch from our Café is available for purchase.

Fees and Refunds

Tuition cost will be refunded if a class is canceled. For a full refund, cancellations must be made no later than two weeks before the class, workshop, or camp begins. After that time a 25% an administrative fee will be charged.
