Preschool

Young Artists

Ages 3 to 5 with an adult caregiver

Children with their caregivers will enjoy learning about the basic elements of art through fun and new artmaking techniques. Each class will feature a different project that will help improve fine motor and social skills.

Children and Youth

Afterschool Art I

Ages 6 to 18

Beginning artists will love this introduction to artmaking using traditional techniques and the opportunity to hone their art skills while creating beautiful artworks in a variety of mediums like painting, sculpture, and mixed media.

Afterschool Art II

Ages 6 to 18

Students with some (or lots!) of experience making art are encouraged to enroll in this class that is geared for more advanced students. Participants will be introduced to new techniques as well as traditional media like textiles, sculpture, and clay.

Homeschool Botanical Drawing Workshop

Ages 6 to 16

Learn about the fall blooming plants and trees in the Sculpture Garden, and create your own botanical drawings outdoors or en plein air, weather permitting. This workshop will take place rain or shine.

Homeschool Empty Bowl Workshop

Ages 6 to 16

Register for this clay workshop for a greater cause. In connection with the Views of the South, participants will visit the exhibition and make their own clay bowls inspired by the Empty Bowl Project.

Teens and Adults

Adult Stained Glass Class

Ages 14 and Older

Perfect for beginners or those with experience, basic stained glass techniques will be demonstrated and practiced, culminating in the participants creating their own stained glass piece. Space is limited, so register early!

Fees and Refunds

Tuition cost will be refunded if a class is canceled. For a full refund, cancellations must be made no later than two weeks before the class, workshop, or camp begins. After that time a 25% an administrative fee will be charged.
