The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts Junior Executive Board is proud to invite you to experience a new annual concert featuring regional bands in the John and Joyce Caddell Sculpture Garden.
Kirk Jay & Kuntry Funk
Kirk Jay is from Bay Minette, Alabama. In 2014 he met Teddy Gentry, the bass player for the group Alabama. With Teddy as his mentor, Kirk began performing in open mic nights. His unique country sound allowed him to gain a strong following. After a short time, Kirk began playing with his band Kuntry Funk in bars around Montgomery. He recently appeared on Season 15 of NBC’s The Voice where he was a member of Blake Shelton’s team and came in third place in the finale.
Souled Out Groove
This band’s lineup of male and female vocalists, keyboards, guitar, bass, saxophone, and drums combines more than five decades of rhythm and blues, soul, and jazz that has a multi-generational audience captivated by their performances. This group’s unique sound can fit in anywhere–bars, wedding receptions, balls, and parties. Under the leadership of musician and vocalist Terrence Baldwin, this band has gained quite a reputation in central Alabama’s entertainment industry.
Coleman Woodson Group
Coleman Woodson III is a well-known saxophonist and pianist. He is the founding member of the group from which American Idol’s Ruben Studdard got his start in music. Woodson and other band members are known for their jam sessions in downtown Montgomery, which consists of jazz and blues music.

The VIP experience will include the opportunity to meet the musicians prior to the concert as well as a selection of food and drinks for your enjoyment. Open seating.

This event will take place rain or shine; in the event of rain, some activities may be altered or canceled. Food and beverage will be on sale throughout the evening. Attendees are required to have a valid ID to purchase alcohol. Chairs and picnic blankets are encouraged, but no outside food or beverage is permitted.
UAB School of Medicine- Montgomery Regional Medical Campus
The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts founded a Junior Executive Board in 2011 to promote membership and to build awareness among young professionals in the River Region. The Junior Executive Board targets community arts enthusiasts ages 25 to 40 and hosts events throughout the year.
