Overview

The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts maintains additional documentation for collection objects which is not accessible online. Further information on collection objects may be requested by emailing curatorial@mmfa.org.

Image Requests

The Museum provides specialized image resources used in reproducing works of art from the Museum’s collection. Image reproductions may be licensed for scholarly, commercial, or personal/study uses. All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. For questions or further clarification, contact the Curatorial Department at curatorial@mmfa.org.

Weil Graphic Arts Study Center

In addition to exhibitions on view in the Weil Print Room, the space is also available for academic institutions to study requested works on paper. The collection includes European (from the 15th century onwards) and American prints, drawings, and photographs.

The Museum does not appraise or authenticate works of art.
