Our Town: Montgomery People and Places
March 15 through May 11, 2014
Engraved and published images of Montgomery were produced from early in its history in the nineteenth century, however artists began true documentation of the life of the city in the early twentieth century, led by locals such as Anne Goldthwaite and J. Kelly Fitzpatrick. This exhibition of prints and watercolors from the Museum’s permanent collection features people and places that these artists saw in and around their hometown.
