Kerr Eby Artist of the World Wars

Guest lecturer Sebastian H. Lukasik of Air Command and Staff College will explore Kerr Eby’s career as a combat artist in in two world wars, with a particular emphasis of his depictions of modern warfare from the trench stalemate of the First World War to the island-hopping campaigns of Second World War in the Pacific. Dr. Lukasik is a scholar of military history and is currently at work on a social and cultural history entitled For Home and Country: Why Americans Fought in the Great War.
