Artist Ke Francis will present a gallery talk to discuss his large-scale works of art.  A story-teller at heart, Francis is both comfortable and extremely proficient in working in a variety of media, including bookmaking, printmaking, mixed-media construction, and painting. Come hear Francis discuss his large-scale works now on view in the Weil Atrium.

FLIMP Chalk Art Competition
8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The drawing times for the FLIMP Chalk Art Competition will be Friday May 2 and the morning of Saturday May 3, before the Festival begins. Chalk artists create inspired works of art in the Museum’s parking spaces, and the MMFA provides materials to all who register on time. During the FLIMP Festival, visitors enjoy the vivid chalk drawings in the parking lot gallery, and local celebrities judge the winners.
