Science Connection with Jacqueline Bishop

9:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
This year our focus will be on natural science and the environment. The artist Jacqueline Bishop, whose work is featured in the exhibition Natural Wonders: The Art of Jacqueline Bishop and Douglas Bourgeois, will be here. The artist and Museum educators will lead students in discovering connections between science and art and making their own projects.

Studio Class: Homeschool Sculpture Class

10 A.M. to 3 P.M.
Homeschool students ages 8 to 16 are encouraged to sign up for this exciting studio class. Lee Somers, a sculptural artist featured in the Uncommon Territory exhibition, will be teaching students about sculpture. Participants will visit the galleries and create their works in our studio with Mr. Somers. Students must bring a sack lunch and wear clothing suitable for artmaking.

Ages: 8 to 16
Cost: $18 members / $30 non-members
Class size is limited to fifteen students. Parents are welcome to stay during class, but those who wish to participate will be required to pay the fee for supplies.
Fees and Refunds
Tuition cost will be refunded if a class is canceled. For a full refund, cancellations must be made no later than two weeks before the class, workshop, or camp begins. After that time a 25% an administrative fee will be charged.
